Official Rules & Regulations

1. Sponsor. This contest is administered by Calgary Casino Limited Partnership by its General Partner Calgary Casino GP Ltd., operating as ACE Casino YYC Airport, located at 40 Aero Crescent NE, Calgary, Alberta. The contest is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Instagram, Facebook (Meta Platforms, Inc.), or any other social media platform.
2. Eligibility. Open to legal residents of the Province of Alberta, Canada, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and hold a valid government-issued photo ID confirming age and residency. Participants must have an Instagram or Facebook account in good standing and be physically present at ACE Casino YYC Airport and The Westin Calgary Airport on May 8, 2026 to attend the event. To claim a prize, the winner must complete a prize claim form at the Slots Cage and produce valid government-issued ID. Employees of ACE Casino YYC Airport, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible.
3. Entry Period. The entry window opens on May 8, 2026 and closes at 12:00 PM MST on May 15, 2026. All posts and stories must be publicly submitted and visible by the close of the entry window. Late entries will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter. To enter, a participant must: (1) post a photo from their attendance of the Darcy Oake Grand Illusion show on Instagram or Facebook, or post a Story on Instagram or Facebook tagging @aceairportcasino or @ACEcasinoyyc; and (2) include the hashtag #GrandIllusionACE in the post caption and tag @aceairportcasino (Instagram) or @ACEcasinoyyc (Facebook) directly in the caption. All posts must remain publicly visible through the verification period. No purchase, payment, or ticket acquisition is required to enter or win.
5. No Purchase Necessary. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win this contest. A purchase will not improve chances of winning. Attendance at the Darcy Oake Grand Illusion event is the sole practical prerequisite for entry.
6. Prize. One (1) grand prize winner will receive one (1) $500 Prepaid Mastercard, usable anywhere Mastercard is accepted worldwide. The prize is non-transferable and has no cash alternative. The card will be issued to the confirmed winner following eligibility verification and completion of a prize claim form at the Slots Cage with valid government-issued photo ID. Any applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
7. Winner Selection. One (1) winner will be selected by randomized digital draw, screen recorded, from all verified eligible entries. The draw will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM MST. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
8. Winner Notification. The winner will be notified via direct message (DM) through the Instagram or Facebook account from which their winning entry was submitted. ACE Casino will make a minimum of two (2) notification attempts within five (5) business days of the draw. If the winner does not respond within 30 calendar days of first notification, the prize is forfeited.
9. Winner Announcement. The winner’s first name and last initial will be announced publicly on ACE Casino’s official Instagram (@aceairportcasino) and Facebook (@ACEcasinoyyc) pages following confirmation of eligibility and prize acceptance.
10. Conditions of Entry. By entering, participants grant ACE Casino a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reshare or repost their tagged public content on ACE Casino’s social media accounts for promotional purposes, with credit. Participants warrant that their content is original, does not infringe third-party rights, and does not contain defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate material. By participating, contestants agree to comply with all official rules and regulations.
11. Disqualification. ACE Casino reserves the right to disqualify entries that use fake accounts, bots, or automated services; entries from accounts set to private at the time of verification; or entries containing content deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of platform community standards.
12. Privacy. Personal information collected through this contest will be used solely for the purpose of conducting the draw, verifying eligibility, and awarding the prize. ACE Casino will not sell, rent, or share participant information with third parties except as required by applicable law or AGLC regulations.
13. Liability. ACE Casino is not responsible for commencing, continuing, or completing the promotion or awarding prizes in the event of circumstances beyond ACE Casino’s control, including late, lost, misdirected, or ineligible entries, or technical failures of any kind.
14. Governing Law. This contest is subject to all applicable federal and provincial laws, including Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) regulations. The contest is void where prohibited and governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta.
15. Modifications. ACE Casino reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify this contest if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond ACE Casino’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the contest, as determined by ACE Casino in its sole discretion.
